Class Descriptions

MMA –  Mixed Martial Arts or MMA is the blending of  several different martial arts into 1 system.  It involves training in the basics of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, kickboxing, wrestling, & boxing.  The reason we have the best team is because of the way we train in putting the transitions from each art together.  If you want to be a mixed marital artist you must train in all of these arts to become great!

BJJ Basics –  White to blue belt BJJ techniques.  Focusing a lot on learning basic moves, self defense, & strategies.   The teen BJJ class is just a basics class for teens.   The most important aspect of learning grappling is learning the basics. 1 hour class

Intermediate gi & no gi –  These classes are for people who have been training with us for a minimum of 6 months.  They are designed to help people get ready for competition and advance their skill set. 1-2 hour class

Wrestling – The wrestling classes are designed for all age and experience levels.  We use a folkstyle basis and also add in elements from Greco & freestyle. 1 hour class

Fitness Kickboxing –  This class gives you the opportunity to train like a professional fighter.  You will do all the same exercises a fighter does when preparing for a competition.  The only difference is that you will not be sparring.  All the exercises, drills, & bag work are the same ones we use to train our pros. 1 hour class

Kickboxing –  This is an all levels class!  It is a really good class for getting in shape and learning the fundamentals of Thai Boxing.  Lots of drill & bag work with no sparring.  Great workout and lots of fun! 1 hour class

Open mats – Grappling classes with live sparring in all the grappling arts we train.  These are great classes for getting in shape & preparing for competition.  Bring proper equipment for the proper class. 1 1/2 – 2 hour class

Kids,  Juniors, & Teens BJJ –  We use the Gracie self defense system to teach the kids proper self defense.  We also use all the proven arts used in MMA (boxing, muay thai, wrestling, judo/sambo & BJJ) competition to make your kids well rounded martial artists.    The class if good for them building confidence,  strength, coordination, & balance.  We will teach them real world self defense not theories & forms.45-55 minute classes

*Kids BJJ ages 5 years old – 8 years old

*Juniors BJJ ages 9 years old – 12 years old

*Teens BJJ ages 13 years old – 16 years old
